Merry Christmas! 

I love this church. I love the heart of giving, the loyalty of friends to each other and the willingness to forgive. It is Christmas all the time when love has its way. During this time of giving I hope we are not ashamed to cut back on the materialistic side of the season. It is time to get our priorities right not just for this season but for the coming year. Less can be more when the more is greater freedom. It really is time to begin new traditions that go beyond wrappings and bows. There is a new reality upon us, like it or not, and the sooner we adjust the happier and more fruitful we will be. The most beautiful thing about the new reality is that God still sits as king on the throne right in the middle of it. He is still in control which means we can continue to experience love, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit.
