LIVING IN THE RED

Sunday, January 25 was an amazing Sunday! We had an incredible time together. The line to sign up to participate in our Banner Mission was the longest in memory. People are excited about having an opportunity to affect the life of another human being made in God's image. This is a moment in history that we must seize. When times are at their worse, God is at His best. Let's go with God!

Yesterday, we began a series to help us reconnect with our values that drive all the good things we hope to see accomplished. We are not running "helter skelter" but we have a vision and direction that comes from a real set of inner guidelines that lead us forward. It is important with so many voices, problems and needs that we stay true to ourselves. We are committing the next ten Sundays to reminding ourselves what we are all about. This series is called "Living in the Red".

We are living and being directed by the words of our Lord, recorded in most Bibles in "RED". "Living in the Red" is living according to the words and example of Christ. That is exciting! Our values are rooted in the red and that is why we can build on them and stake our future on them.
